The bauma in Munich with its 600.000 m2 exhibition area and its 600.000 visitors is the biggest fair worldwide.

PERI wanted a new, modern brand presence with a distinctive long range effect for the bauma 2019.

The impressive 21m high cushion façade, designed.in conjunction with KTP, is an eye catcher which attracts visitors from a distance.

The building consists of 2 parts, a lightweight cover and an internal steel structure.

The cover’s pneumatic cushions are supported by an aluminium truss structure. The steel structure inside the exhibition stand forms three exhibition levels. Integrated seating steps provide a view towards the arena. Visitors are able to participate in product presentations.

The building and the arena will be stored after being dismounted and will be reused both in 2022 and in 2025.
